Zanzibar maintain Dwelling Eagles down in pre CHAN 2024 pleasant

The home-based Super Eagles were held to a 2-2 draw by Zanzibar in a pre 2024 African Nations Championship, CHAN, friendly on Thursday.

Nigeria led 2-0 at half-time through goals from Nasarawa United striker, Anas Yusuf, and Adedayo Olamilekan.

Zanzibar, however, fought back after the break to earn a share of the spoils.

DAILY POST recalls Zanzibar, and Nigeria battled to a 0-0 draw in their first friendly on Monday.

The Home Eagles will now shift attention to their first game at the CHAN 2024 finals against defending champions Senegal.

The Group D encounter will hold at the Amman Stadium, Zanzibar next week Tuesday.
