Former Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has revealed what impresses him about Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal.

Yamal has established himself as a vital player in the current Barcelona squad under manager Hansi Flick.

The Spain international helped the Catalan club to win both the Copa del Rey and La Liga title last season.

The 17-year-old is among the top contenders to compete for the 2025 Ballon d’Or award.

Speaking about Yamal, Pogba, who is currently a free agent after his contract with Juventus was terminated in 2024, told ESPN what impresses him about the winger is that he has the mentality of an adult at his age.

“He is incredible. What impresses me about him is that he has the mentality of an adult at his age,” Pogba said.

“He always plays clearly, and at such an age, that is crazy,” the Frenchman added.
