Morocco head coach Jorge Vilda has declared the Atlas Lionesses are not afraid of the Super Falcons of Nigeria.

The hosts will take on the Super Falcons in the final of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat on Saturday.

The Atlas Lionesses will be looking to win the trophy for the first time.

Nigeria is most the successful country in the history of the competition with nine titles.

Justine Madugu’s side have scored 11 goals and conceded once at the WAFCON 2024 finals.

They also parade some of the best players on the continent.

Vilda however said the Moroccans have no fear confronting the Nigerians despite their huge pedigree.

“Nigeria have shown a lot of improvement through the tournament and overcome some very difficult teams, but we are going to face them without any inferiority complex,” Vilda told a press conference in Rabat on Friday.
