Southampton have announced Paul Onuachu will join Turkish Süper Lig club, Trabzonspor, on a permanent transfer.

The Saints disclosed on their website on Friday that they have agreed terms with Trabzonspor for the forward’s transfer to the latter.

The 31-year-old spent two-and-a-half years at St Mary’s Stadium.

Onuachu spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Trabzonspor, scoring 15 goals in 21 league appearances.

The Nigeria international was on target four times in 40 outings for Southampton.

He will link up with his compatriot, Anthony Nwakaeme, at Trabzonspor.
