Czech First League outfit, Dukla Prague have completed the signing of Nigerian midfielder Samson Tijani, DAILY POST reports.

The former Golden Eaglets captain, who joined Dukla Prague on a free transfer penned a long-term contract.

Tijani will be hoping to revive his career after a torrid five-year spell at Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg.

The midfielder joined Salzburg in 2020 from Collins Edwin Sports Academy in Nigeria.

The 23-year-old appeared in only three league games for the club.

He was sent out on loan to three different Austrian clubs.

Tijani spent last season on loan at Norwegian club Frekistad.

The playmaker believed the move to Dukla will help revive his career.

“The move to Dukla is an important step for me. At this stage of my career, I want to focus on growth, development and consistently proving my qualities,” Tijani told the club website.
