The Petroleum Authority of Uganda (PAU) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Steven Enach as the Director Midstream. His appointment follows a distinguished career in Uganda’s petroleum sector, marked by technical expertise and strategic leadership in midstream operations.

Mr Enach is a Petroleum Scientist and Business Executive with over 15 years of experience in Uganda’s oil and gas industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science Technology (Chemistry) degree from Kyambogo University and a Master of Science in Refinery Design and Operations from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom.

Since joining public service in 2009, Mr Enach has served in various capacities, including as Petroleum Geochemist and later as Head of the Chemical and Process Section at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (MEMD), where he played a key role in advancing the Uganda Oil Refinery project. He joined the Authority in 2018 as Manager Refining and Gas Processing, where he has been instrumental in regulating midstream activities, including the development of gas utilisation projects and the Uganda Refinery.
