Switch: Sporting in talks to signal Suarez as Man Metropolis put together €60m for Costa

Sporting CP are currently in talks with Almeria to sign their forward Luis Javier Suárez this summer transfer window.

According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, talks between discussions between both clubs for Suárez have accelerated in the recent hours

Romano added that an agreement for the 27-year-old attacker to join the Portuguese club is almost done and final details will be sorted out this week.

Meanwhile, in another development, Manchester City are preparing an offer €60m with add-ons included bid for Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa, Maisfutebol reports.

The Cityzens are keen to sign the Porto shot-stopper this summer transfer window as their current first-choice goalkeeper Ederson is linked with a move to Galatasaray.

The Premier League giants will have to battle Paris Saint-Germain for Costa’s signature as the reigning UEFA Champions League winners are also interested in the Portuguese.
