Galatasaray have submitted an improved offer to Napoli as they intensify efforts to sign Victor Osimhen on a permanent basis.

It is understood that the latest bid is €75 million, to be paid over five years in instalments.

Although this matches the value of Osimhen’s release clause, the fact that it would not be paid in a lump sum means Napoli would need to agree to the proposed terms.

This was revealed by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on Tuesday night.

Romano tweeted: “Galatasaray have improved their official bid for Victor Osimhen.

“€75m reached as value of the release clause but not triggering it as the offer is with payment terms in five years as installments.

“Decision up to Napoli.”

Osimhen is believed to have agreed personal terms on a three-year contract with Galatasaray.
