Switch: Chelsea ins, outs, new contracts this summer time

Chelsea have published names of players that joined or left the club this summer transfer window.

The Blues also announced the players who were handed new contracts.

In a post via their website on Sunday, the Premier League west London club confirmed that striker Liam Delap joined Chelsea from Ipswich Town, while midfielder Dario Essugo completed a move from Sporting Lisbon to Stamford Bridge after impressing during a loan spell in Spain with Las Palmas last season.

Enzo Maresca’s side added that Estevao, an 18-year-old Brazilian, will link up with the Blues after leaving Palmeiras ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, while Jamie Gittens, a 20-year-old English winger, completed a move from Borussia Dortmund to Chelsea on 5 July.

Chelsea also revealed that forward Joao Pedro joined Chelsea from Brighton & Hove Albion, while Kendry Paez completed his move to Chelsea this summer after turning 18 years old.

Other players who joined Chelsea are Mike Penders, (from Genk to Chelsea),
and Mamadou Sarr (Strasbourg to Chelsea).

Meanwhile, players who signed new contract are Kian Best (contract valid to 2027), Ato Ampah (contract valid 2028), Max Merrick (signed three-year contract) and Jimi Tauriainen ( valid to 202).

Similarly, players who left Chelsea this summer on loan or permanent transfer are Mathis Amougou, Eddie Beach, Lucas Bergstrom, Marcus Bettinelli, Luke Campbell, Bashir Humphreys, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Zak Sturge, Marcell Washington, Dylan Williams and Teddy Sharman-Lowe.
