Socialite Sandra Teta has been released on police bond following an early morning incident in Munyonyo that left her partner and father of her children, Weasel Manizo with fractured legs.
According to reports, Teta, who was driving a white Mercedes-Benz, hit the singer during a heated altercation. She was arrested and detained at Kabalagala Police Station for investigations but later released on bail.
Speaking out after her release, Sandra explained that the disagreement began when Weasel told her to leave his home and return to her parents, yet refused to provide her with transport. She said that when she sought support from his parents, they also dismissed her concerns, further fueling tensions between the couple.
Additional sources claim that the altercation was rooted in Weasel’s alleged failure to care for their children. Sandra reportedly followed him to a bar, intending to leave the children in his care. When he tried to physically block her from leaving by standing in front of the car, she drove forward and hit him.

After her release, Sandra and her children visited Weasel in the hospital to check on his condition.
The couple’s relationship has long been marred by allegations of domestic violence. In 2022, Sandra made headlines after photos surfaced showing her with a bruised and swollen face. There were widespread allegations that Weasel had assaulted herclaims supported by Daniella Atim, the estranged wife of Weasel’s brother, singer Chameleone. Daniella publicly stated that Sandra had endured repeated abuse at the hands of Weasel.

At one point, Sandra fled to her parents’ home in Rwanda, only for Weasel to retrieve her shortly afterward. The couple later claimed she had been attacked by robbers, a version of events that was met with skepticism.
