Real Madrid midfielder Reinier Jesus has reached an agreement to leave the club and join Atletico Mineiro in the summer transfer window.

According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Jesus will leave Los Blancos on a free transfer, with a 50 per cent sell-on clause.

Jesus joined Real Madrid from Brazilian side Flamengo in 2020 and was loaned to Borussia Dortmund, Granada and Girona in previous seasons.

Meanwhile, in another development, Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso has called up youngsters Daniel Yáñez, Diego Aguado and Manuel Ángel for first-team training, as reported by Madrid Zone (via @Rodra10_97 on X).

Ángel, however, remains a doubt due to discomfort sustained previously.

This comes ahead of Real Madrid’s pre-season friendly with WSG Tirol next Tuesday in Austria.

After the WSG Tirol game, Alonso’s side will start their LaLiga campaign against Osasuna on August 19.
