A Limpopo police Constable has been arrested following the death of a pedestrian at Mogaung village in the Nebo area.
Police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba says the officer was driving a state vehicle when he allegedly knocked down an eight-year-old boy.
Ledwaba says the officer faces charges of culpable homicide, drunken and negligent driving.
Police say a docket has been handed over to the Independent Police Investigative Directorate, IPID.
