Orbit College gains PSL promotion, Cape Town City relegation – SABC News

Orbit College, who finished second in the National First Division last season, will play premiership football next season.

The team from the North West Province booked their spot in the Betway Premiership with a 1-0 victory over Cape Town City in Rustenburg this afternoon.

Striker Letsie Loapeng scored the all important goal in the 47th minute.

The win lifted Orbit College to eight points on the three-team table, six points clear of their rivals.

Cape Town City will be relegated to the National First Division from where they’ll have to try and fight their way back into the Premiership next season.
