Veteran media personality Omulangira Ndausi has sparked fresh debate with claims that singer Rema Namakula could have achieved global stardom had she remained with the Gagamel Crew, led by Bebe Cool.

Appearing on Kasuku Live alongside fellow Gagamel supporter Jenkins Mukasa, Ndausi argued that Rema missed a critical opportunity to take her career to international heights.

“Rema had all the ingredients of a global star, even more potential than what we see now but her momentum dropped when she parted ways with Gagamel. If she had stayed, she would be part of Bebe Cool’s latest album Break The Chains today.” Omulangira Ndausi remarked.

Ndausi went on to compare her career path to that of rising star Joshua Baraka, who is currently enjoying growing international acclaim.

He also shared personal disappointment over Rema’s romantic choices, suggesting she should have opted for a partner outside the music industry.

“I had hoped she would end up with a more seasoned, wealthy Hajji someone mature and stable not the direction she ultimately chose,” he added.
