NPFL: El-Kanemi Warriors strengthen squad with 5 new gamers

El-Kanemi Warriors have recruited five new players for the 2025–26 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL season.

The players are Victor Ilechukwu, Ebuka Okoro, Emmanuel Nwabufo, Sadiq Mohammad, and Usman Audu.

Ilechukwu and Okoro joined the Borno Army from Kun Khalifat FC, Nwabufo moved from Heartland, while Mohammed and Audu signed from Nasarawa United and DMD FC, respectively.

El-Kanemi Warriors unveiled the players in a brief ceremony at their Colonel Abdulmumin Aminu Camp, Maiduguri, on Saturday.

It will be recalled that El-Kanemi Warriors recently appointed coach Kabiru Dogo as their new technical adviser for the season.

The new season will commence on Friday, August 22.
