Yobe Desert Stars have placed 20 players on the transfer list following the conclusion of the 2024–25 Nigeria National League, NNL, season.

DAILY POST recalls that Yobe Desert Stars failed to secure promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, at the just-concluded Super 8 playoffs.

The Damaturu club made the announcement on Saturday.

The club stated that the players’ disengagement is part of the team’s rebuilding process for next season.

Yobe Desert Stars also terminated the contract of the club’s captain and first-choice goalkeeper.

The club retained the services of its secretary and media officer for the new season.
