Rasheedat Ajibade was named Woman of the Match following Nigeria’s thrilling 2–1 semi-final victory over the Banyana Banyana of South Africa, DAILY POST reports.

It was the third time the Super Falcons captain has won the award at the ongoing 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Ajibade was adjudged best player in the Super Falcons’ second game of the competition against Botswana, which they won 1–0.

The 25-year-old also picked up the individual accolade in the nine-time champions’ quarter-final 5–0 thrashing of Zambia.
