The uMkhonto weSizwe Party says it has requested the Speaker of the National Assembly, Thoko Didiza, for a secret vote in a motion of no confidence in President Cyril Ramaphosa.
The party says it submitted the request for the motion three days ago.
It says it brings the motion based on governance failures, economic mismanagement, leadership instability and national security concerns, among others.
In a statement, the party says a secret vote would offer protection against intimidation and a voting process of integrity.
