According to Kiira Region Police Spokesperson, SP Mubi James, the incident unfolded after the brothers made a brief stop at Shell Ambercourt while returning to Kampala. There, they became involved in a heated confrontation with Ibra Hussein, a resident of Jinja City.

To resolve the dispute, the parties proceeded to Jinja Central Police Station (CPS). At the station, Ibra Hussein filed an assault complaint against Mikie Wine, alleging that he had physically attacked him.

In response, Mikie Wine filed a counter-complaint, accusing Hussein of maliciously damaging his vehicle.

“While we were trying to mediate and resolve the situation, Dax Vibez physically assaulted Ibra Hussein, leading to a new assault charge against him,” SP Mubi told BBS TV in a phone interview.

At the time of the interview, Dax Vibez remained in custody at CPS Jinja, while both Mikie Wine and Ibra Hussein had been released on police bond.

SP Mubi urged the public to exercise respect and discipline during conflicts.

“We encourage citizens to respect one another. Please exercise discipline and stop the disrespect. Treat fellow humans well because we are the same,” he said.
