Ugandan musician Yasin Mukasa, popularly known as Lil Pazo, has spoken out against the proposed move by event promoters Abbey Musinguzi (also known as Abtex) and Nobat Events to ban fellow artist Eddy Kenzo from performing.
Lil Pazo dismissed the idea as impractical, arguing that the promoters lack the authority to enforce such a ban across the entire entertainment industry.

“You can’t ban Eddy Kenzo from performing anywhere in this country, first of all, he’s also a promoter he can organize his own concerts and has the financial means to do so. You can’t stop bar owners and other promoters from booking him. They need to find a different strategy.”,” Lil Pazo stated.
He went on to suggest that if Abtex and Nobat Events have any grievances, they should consider legal action rather than attempting to block Kenzo from performing.
“Maybe they can take legal action against him, but banning him from performing on stage that’s just not going to work,” Lil Pazo emphasized.

He also weighed in on the ongoing debate surrounding the government’s announced Ugx 35 billion package for the creative industry, clarifying that Eddy Kenzo has not received any of the funds.
“This government has poor public relations, which is why many people are upset. That Ugx 35 billion is a lot of money, and as far as I know, Eddy Kenzo hasn’t received it.”,” Lil Pazo noted .
