The Bad Character boss Sadat Mukiibi, popularly known as Kalifah AgaNaga, has advised the public especially supporters of the National Unity Platform (NUP) to avoid involving musicians in the country’s high-stakes political affairs.
In a recent video message, Kalifah addressed a growing trend where fans and online commentators equate ordinary musicians with Bobi Wine, the NUP leader and former musician turned politician.
“Bobi Wine is in a league of his own,he operates at a presidential level, which gives him the platform and protection to speak out freely. The rest of us do not have that same status or security.”,he said.
He warned that attempting to imitate Bobi Wine’s bold political stance without the same standing or influence could lead to serious repercussions.

“Just because Bobi Wine can express himself a certain way doesn’t mean everyone can or should follow suit. He’s treated differently because of his position, and we function in a completely different space.”,he explained.
Kalifah urged fellow musicians to stay focused on matters within their scope, rather than engaging in political issues that could be beyond their influence or control.

He also noted that Bobi Wine already has artists who work closely with him and will call on them when necessary, suggesting there’s no need for others to insert themselves into political battles uninvited.
