Senate Minority Leader and representative of Benue South senatorial district, Abba Moro, has expressed sorrow over the passing of former PDP National Chairman, ex-Minister of Agriculture, and APC chieftain, Chief Audu Ogbeh, who died on Saturday at the age of 78.

Speaking on behalf of the people of Zone C, Senator Moro described the late Ogbeh as a man of integrity and an exceptional personality whose life touched countless individuals and whose efforts significantly advanced the development of Benue South, Benue State, and Nigeria as a whole.

He likened the loss to “an Iroko tree falling in the forest,” noting that his demise leaves behind a huge void.

The senator recalled his interactions with Chief Ogbeh, describing the news of his death as a personal tragedy.

He extended his condolences to the bereaved family and the entire Ogbadibo Local Government Area, praying for God’s strength and comfort for them to bear what he termed an irreplaceable loss.
