The Head of the Indian Military Advisory and Training Team (IMATT), Brig Gen BS Fogat, along with his delegation, this afternoon paid a farewell visit to the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, as their two-year tour of duty in Uganda ends.

Gen Kainerugaba commended the Indian team for their contributions to the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) during their tenure.
He also expressed gratitude for their dedicated support in enhancing training programs and strengthening bilateral military cooperation.

In response, Brig Gen Fogat thanked Gen Kainerugaba for the warm hospitality and collaborative engagement throughout their deployment.
