Ekurhuleni authorities uncover decomposing male physique in river – SABC Information

An unknown partially decomposed body of a man has been retrieved from a river in Palm Ridge on Gauteng’s East Rand.

City of Ekurhuleni’s Disaster and Emergency Management Services(DEMS) says they received a call about the sighting of a body and went out to investigate.

Spokesperson William Ntladi says the matter has been handed to the police to investigate.

“The partly decomposed body of an adult male was identified in the middle of the stream. And teams managed to (dive) in and were able to retrieve the body. The person is unknown as we speak,” says Ntladi.
