The Department of Transport has welcomed the department’s first clean audit in 31 years.
The Minister of the department, Barbara Creecy, and Deputy Minister Mkhuleko Hlengwa say the clean audit outcome by the Auditor-General South Africa (AGSA) is a step in the right direction towards a fully accountable and clean administration.
Creecy and Hlengwa attributed the Department’s clean audit outcome to the department’s commitment to clean governance and accountability.
