Musicians Dax Vibez and Mikie Wine were reportedly arrested in the early hours of Monday morning while returning from a performance in Jinja.
According to reports, the two artists who are also brothers of National Unity Platform (NUP) president Bobi Wine were stopped by police at around 2 AM.
They had just performed at the Ekitudha event hosted by Baba TV, and were traveling with their respective teams at the time of the incident.
According video making rounds on social media, shows police rounding up the artists and detaining them along with their crews. In the footage, Dax Vibez can be heard shouting for help, claiming they were being arrested without cause.
As of now, police have not yet issued an official statement regarding the reason behind the arrests.
