Gagamel International frontman Moses Ssali, better known as Bebe Cool, has opened up about why he continues to ignore the ongoing online attacks and verbal jabs from fellow artist King Saha.

According to the veteran musician, engaging with Saha isn’t worth his time or energy.

In a recent interview with Galaxy TV, Bebe Cool was asked why he has never publicly responded to King Saha’s repeated provocations, especially considering his decision to take comedian Alex Muhangi to court over a copyright issue.

“Some people are not worth it, I don’t waste my time on people who don’t deserve it. I choose my battles wisely and only respond when necessary. That’s the difference between Saha and Alex Muhangi.” Bebe Cool said bluntly

The bad blood between the two artists dates back to when Bebe Cool accused King Saha of drug abuse and suggested that his music career was in jeopardy.

He advised Saha to reconsider his lifestyle before things spiraled out of control.

Saha, understandably offended, clapped back and warned Bebe to stay out of his business.

Although the feud appeared to cool off during the COVID-19 lockdown, it reignited when Saha announced his intention to run for the presidency of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA).

Bebe Cool publicly criticized Saha’s leadership abilities, undermining his campaign while Saha was busy rallying support from fellow artists.

In an unexpected move, Saha even promised to appoint Bebe Cool as one of his advisors if he won against incumbent UMA president Cindy Sanyu. The gesture, however, did little to thaw the ice.

Since then, King Saha has continued to take shots at Bebe at every opportunity. Still, Bebe has remained unmoved and completely silent.

His reason, he simply doesn’t see the need to dignify it with a response.
