Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) says it has placed the group executive for enterprise security and compliance, Mzwandile Petros, on precautionary suspension pending a probe into allegations of operational irregularities.
It says Mary Ann Joubert has been appointed to act in the post.
ACSA says in a statement that the move is to protect the integrity of the investigative process.
The airport company says the day-to-day operations of ACSA will not be affected by the suspension.
