5 killed in KZN taxi crash on N3 – SABC Information

At least five people have been killed and several others injured in a taxi crash on the N3 towards Pietermaritzburg.

It’s alleged that the driver of a taxi lost control and went down an embankment.

ALS paramedics spokesperson, Garrith Jamieson says the passengers were ejected out of the vehicle.

“Initial reports are that a taxi somehow lost control and went down an embankment ejecting most of its passengers. Initial reports are that four to five people have sustained fatal injuries. Paramedics from ALS paramedics are in attendance and more ambulances are mobile to assist.”
