2027: PDP pronounces South-West zonal caucus assembly

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has fixed Friday, July 11, 2025, as its South-West zonal caucus meeting, scheduled to hold at the South-West Zonal Secretariat, Ibadan, Oyo State.

This was contained in a statement by the National Vice Chairman, South-West, Kamorudeen Ajisafe, on Tuesday.

According to the statement, those invited for the South-West Zonal Caucus meeting are the National Vice Chairman of the South-West Zone, who shall be the Chairman, and other members of the Zonal Working Committee.

Others include serving and former Presidents and Vice Presidents of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from the South-West Zone who are still members of the Party.

The statement also listed those invited for the meeting as serving and former Governors and Deputy Governors of the states in the South-West Zone, who are still members of the Party.

Also to attend the meeting are serving and former members of the National Assembly from the South-West Zone produced by the Party who are still members of the Party.

Others are serving and former members of the National Executive Committee from the South-West Zone who are still members of the Party.

“The Chairmen, Deputy Chairmen, and Secretaries of the Party in the states in the South-West Zone.

“Serving and former Speakers and Deputy Speakers of Houses of Assembly in the Zone, who are still members of the Party.

“Former Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from the South-West Zone who are still members of the Party.

“Former Secretaries to the Government of the Federation from the South-West Zone who are still members of the Party.

“Former Ambassadors from the South-West Zone who are still members of the Party, as well as former Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from the South-West Zone who are still in the Party.

“Lastly, former Chairmen of Federal Boards and Parastatals from the South-West Zone who are still in the Party, as well as three (3) Physically Challenged Persons admitted in the Caucus by the Caucus, are equally invited for the meeting,” the statement said.
