Galatasaray manager, Okan Buruk, has personally reached out to Victor Osimhen in an effort to lure him to join the club on a permanent transfer.

This was revealed by A Spor commentator, Zeki Uzundurukan.

According to Uzundurukan, Buruk had a direct phone conversation with the Napoli striker and made Galatasaray’s intentions clear to him.

In quotes relayed by habersarikirmizi, Uzundurukan said that Galatasaray is waiting for the Nigeria international.

“Okan Buruk had a phone conversation with Victor Osimhen and said, ‘We are waiting for you at Galatasaray.’ It was a very good meeting,” Uzundurukan said.

Osimhen had a brilliant 2024/25 season at Galatasaray, scoring 37 goals and providing eight assists in all competitions.

The 26-year-old, who is expected to leave Napoli on a permanent move, is yet to decide on his next club.
