Everton are pushing to sign Wilfred Ndidi from Leicester City this summer, DAILY POST reports.
Ndidi is looking to leave Leicester City following the Foxes relegation from the Premier League last season.
The Nigeria international signed a new three-year contract with Leicester last summer.
The contract however included a £9m release clause.
Everton moved to sign the defensive midfielder before the start of last season but he turned down their request.
They have now revived their interest in the 28-year-old.
Ligue 1 club Monaco tried to sign Ndidi in January but had their offer rejected by Leicester City.
There is also interest in the player from Saudi Arabian clubs, who are prepared to offer him a lucrative deal.
Ndidi has been at Leicester City since January 2017 following his arrival from Belgian Pro League club, KRC Genk.
The player won the Emirates FA Cup with Leicester City in the 2020/21 season.
He has scored 11 goals in 252 appearances for the Foxes.
